Tim is in charge of daily operations at Cardiology Institute. He has a Master's Degree of Arts from Indiana University.  He is people oriented and is an invaluable addition to the cardiac team. Spanish is his second mother language and has been facitating our service to spanish speaking patients.

 

Stacey has been an integral part of cardiac care delivery with Dr. Shih and Linda Ideran, RN. With her pleasant personality and wonderful smile, as well as her technological expertise. Stacey is an excellent team member. She assists Dr. Shih and Linda with office cardiology procedures and patient care.

 

 

    She believes in holistic cardiac care and is versatile in all aspects of cardiovascular medicine, based on current standards and guidelines, from prevention, diagnosis, to treatment.

Dr. Shih completed her Cardiology Fellowship training at Loyola University Medical Center after graduation from Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine. She has been practicing cardiology since 2001 and is currently on staff at Provena Mercy Hospital in Aurora, Illinois and Valley West Community Hospital in Sandwich, Illinois.

Dr. Shih is board certified in Internal Medicine,  Cardiology, and Nuclear cardiology.  

Besides medical training, Dr. Shih also has a Master's Degree in Administration from Northern Michigan University and a Master's Degree in Library and Information Science from Indiana University. Some of her hobbies include cooking, gardening, music, and reading. Dr. Shih is fluent in Mandarin Chinese.

Linda brings with her extensive experience in cardiology. She is well versed in heart failure clinic management, anti-coagulation management, coronary artery disease risk modification and prevention, stress test supervision, and is an expert in personalized cardiac care. Linda has worked with Dr. Shih for the past five years. The harmonious working relationship between them will ensure smooth delivery of state-of-the-art cardiac care. Some of her hobbies are sports, music, traveling, and reading.

 

Michelle, our registered Echo/Vascular Technician, provides the highest imaging quality in echocardiogram, stress echo, carotid scanning, and abdominal aorta screening. Michelle’s tenacious pursuit of perfection has shaped her into one of the best echo techs Dr. Shih has worked with.
